Today, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) are co-launching the first estimates of the loss of life and health from ischemic heart disease and stroke attributable to exposure to long working hours. We thank the two Working Groups of individual experts and the Technical Advisory Group who supported WHO and ILO in this official estimation over the past five years.

These WHO/ILO Joint Estimates of the Work-related Burden of Disease and Injury are being launched in the following products:
